Palestine - Exposure Assessment Trip

TBN invites you to join our forthcoming Expo Assessment trip to Palestine in May 2008.    

We will attend a major conference in Bethlehem on private sector development 21-23 May, gain an understanding of the complex causes of poverty in Palestine, vist existing projects, consider fresh opportunities and take time out for site seeing.

Details

The expo will be led by Jerry Marshall, the Networking Development Director of TBN who has been involved with projects in Palestine for a number of years.  Mark Pearson, a TBN Partner who has also been involved in Palestine for some time, will co-lead the expo.

The trip will be especially suitable for those with experience in IT, Business Process Outsourcing, or design and print. There are also opportunities in tourism, handicrafts, textiles, footwear and business / entrepreneurial training. A liking for Middle Eastern food is an advantage but not essential!

Mark is flying out immediately after the TBN conference, on the morning of 17 May, returning on the afternoon of 23 May. Jerry is heading out on the evening of 20 May returning on 25 May.

The estimated cost of the trip overall will be in the region of £500.
