Reconditioned Computers -- After an Expo trip in April of 2004, the South Kensington TBG began the set up for a business called Mycom, selling re-conditioned PCs in Albania. The first shipment of PCs arrived in June of 2005, with a quarter of the machines pre-sold. A second larger shipment is now on its way, and the business has grown to the point that TBN members are traveling to Albania to identify potential franchise agents for this replicable model. This business not only creates essential income streams, but also improves access to affordable computer hardware in Albania, and creates an anticipated 20 jobs. An added bonus to developing this business is that during the process of identifying in-country financing for Mycom, TBN developed a relationship with a local bank. In the future this bank will provide loans to other SMEs based on recommendations from TBN members. Internet Café
