REACH (Responsible, Empowering, Accessible Community Healthcare) is a project to set up communities with basic healthcare provision by funding a healthcare worker through contributions made by self-help groups. We believe that this is an effective, sustainable business model for providing appropriate healthcare and will empower communities to own and manage their healthcare needs. We have consulted and developed the principles of a business model, and would now like to set up a pilot programme in Tamil Nadu in India.
